Inside a restaurant or any food outlet must be clean as well as cozy. You can decorate it according to a theme; this may connect to the food you choose to sell. For example if you are more in to Italian food, a vibrant interior with colorful table clothes and skirting, pictures on walls, an awning, outdoor seating etc. may be ideal.
Marketing and promotions
At the onset itself you need to consider the business or the food strategy you are going with. Are you doing take-away? Delivery? Or just in-house eating? IF you are doing delivery, do you have staff who can ride with their own bicycles, or are you planning to buy the vehicles for them? Are you aware of a how delivery works, with call-ins or online ordering, good chefs aprons in Sydney, return policy and so on? If you are hoping to add take away and delivery you need to have relevant gear such as food containers which you can take various items without them being mixed up or sloshed around and become inedible. You also need to hire some staff to do administrative work such as taking calls, communicating it to the cooking staff, pass it on to the delivery staff with the addresses etc. Whatever business you are running, there are so many things to consider prior to opening the establishment. Once you have a strong plan in place, you will be earning profits in no time.
